Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the insertion of extremely fine needles into specific points on the body. There are many points all over the body, each with its own set of functions. When properly stimulated, each point exerts a specific effect on the body. The points to be stimulated are selected and combined according to the nature of the problem. The size, angle and depth of the needle, the method of stimulation, the number of needles used, and the length of time the needles are left in, are all additional factors which affect the outcome of a treatment.

The human body is incredibly intelligent. Acupuncture utilizes the body's own inherent intelligence to regulate energy and blood circulation, restore strength and balance, improve painful conditions, promote a relaxed state of mind, and enhance one's overall health and well being.
